How to make cheesecake in Nigeria as a caterer

Ingredients

  • 2 shortbread biscuits
  • 1tbsp of caster sugar
  • 150g of cheesy spread
  • 3tbsp of  whipping cream
  • 4tbsp of strawberry jam
  • 100g of strawberries (optional)

Method

  • On two small serving plates, sit two 8cm metal rings on each plate
  • Crush 2 shortbread biscuits on a board, and divide between the metal rings, pressing down to form the base of the cheesecake
  • Beat 150g of cheesy spread in a bowl to soften, and whisk in 3tbsp of whipping cream, 1tbsp of sugar together.
  • Spoon the mixture into the rings and spread to even and flatten the top.
  • Refrigerate overnight if possible, to set well.
  • Gently pull the ring up to release the cheesecake.
  • Top with the jam and berries.
