Pasta is one of the commonest food not just in Nigeria, but across the world. It is one of the signature food of the Italians. One of the reasons many individuals like pasta apart from the fact that it taste great well prepared well, it's the fact that it gets cooked fast. Pasta is made from an unleavened dough of wheat flour mixed with water or eggs, and formed into sheets or other shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking. Pasta come in a number of shapes and varieties. There is a fresh pasta and also a dried pasta. The common one we have in Nigeria shops is the dried pasta that gets swollen after it get parboiled.
The two main pasta we have in Nigeria are spaghetti and macaroni. The difference between the two is the shape. Spaghetti is long, why macaroni is short and curved.
When either of the two are prepared well, it produces amazing taste.
