Beans is one of the recommended foods for old age. This is because it contains high quality protein, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and complex carbohydrate.
Eating them gives your body almost all the nutrients needed for healthy living. Vegetables on the other hand contains little or no amount of calories but are filled with minerals, vitamins and Antioxidants.

3. Brown Rice and Vegetable Sauce
Brown Rice is said to be one of the healthiest type of carbohydrate for old age. This is because it is rich in nutrients such as fiber, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants all of which contribute to better health.
Eating it with Vegetable Sauce is a nice combination you should try out more at old age.
4. Beans and Fatty Fishes
Fatty fishes such as salmon, tuna and mackerel which is commonly eaten in Nigeria contains high quality protein, Antioxidants and especially Omega-3 fatty acids.
A food combination of these two could play a big role in satisfying your taste and also supplying nutrients to your body.
