If making homemade party jollof rice is difficult for you, Here's a detailed guide.
Before adding the water, taste the jollof sauce , it should already be very tasty and more salty than you can handle.

🥘USE MEAT STOCK
No amount of seasoning cubes will give your rice the same rich taste meat stock would. It's non negotiable
🥘GO EASY ON THE OIL
especially if you're using butter. You don't want your food to be an oily mess😣
🥘LET IT BURRRNN🔥
I know you don't like burning food but hanty, this is party jollof rice😒 10 minutes before your rice should be done, turn the heat to high, cover the pot tightly and burn your rice
DO NOT USE A NON STICK POT
Your rice wont burn when it's supposed to.
Believe me, it's hard to make smoky rice in a non stick pot. Use a local iron pot(ikoko irin) like I did or use a regular aluminium pot.
🥘TIGHTLY COVER THE RICE
I know you want to see how your rice is doing every five minutes.
But no, You want the rice to to steam and all the flavors inside. You shouldn't open your pot more than once before it cooks through.
