Nigerian Delicacy: How to Prepare Jollof Spaghetti.

Spaghetti is one of the fastest meal to prepare it doesn't consume time like other meals.

Some Nigerians prefer eating their spaghetti with stew. Not All Nigerians knows how to prepare Jollof Spaghetti.

Jollof spaghetti do not consume time just like the spaghetti itself, this meal is tasty and is loved by many Nigerians because it taste like normal Jollof rice.

Try preparing this meal using the steps below its easy and fast to prepare.

Jollof Spaghetti Recipe

Cook time: 40 minutes.


• One packet of spaghetti

• Chicken stock

• Onion

2 scotch bonnet peppers

• Red bell peppers

• 2 tea spoon of bouillon power

• 3 tea spoon of vegetable oil

• 1 tea spoon of dried Thyme

• 1 tea spoon of curry powder

• Salt


1. Blend the tomatoes, onions, and peppers until its smooth to your liking.

2. Boil the tomato sauce in a pot on use medium heat until half the amount has thickened and will look like a paste. This boiling takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on the heat.

3. Always stir the sauce to prevent it from burning.

4. Pour in the chicken stock, oil, thyme, curry powder and bouillon. Taste the sauce and add salt to your taste.

5. Break the spaghetti into sizable shapes to fit in the pot and add it to sauce.

6. Allow for 5 minutes with medium heat.

7. After 5 minutes, the pasta will be soft enough to stir. Stir and and reduce the heat to low, and allow to cook for another 8-10 minutes.

8. Your Jollof spaghetti is ready to be served.
