1. Afang soup
Afang soup is also known as vegetable soup. It is made from leafy green vegetables. The vegetable used in making this tasty delicacy include; ugu leaves, okazi leaves and waterleaf. These vegetables contain phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals that make them an excellent addition to your regular diet.
Some of the vitamins and minerals found in leafy green vegetables include; vitamin C, vitamin A, magnesium, iron, calcium, fiber and vitamin K. leafy green vegetables are healthy and rich in antioxidants that help to prevent a lot of diseases. 3. Egusi soup
Egusi soup is made using melon seeds locally known as egusi. Egusi soup is a popular type of soup that is eaten by many people across the country. Egusi contains fiber, carbohydrates, iron, zinc and phosphorus, minerals that are essential for healthy living.
Egusi lowers blood sugar levels and helps in preventing diabetes. Eating egusi also helps in lowering cholesterol levels thus reducing your risk of heart disease.
