Let me give you the break down of how I used 900 to make this soup.
BREAKDOWN MONEY SPENT ON INGREDIENTS USED
Egusi (one cup) 150 Naira
Meat 200 Naira
Onions 30 Naira
Locust Beans (Iru) 20 Naira
Smoked Fish 150 Naira
Pepper & Tomatoes 100 Naira
Vegetable(Ugu) 50 Naira
Palm Oil 100 Naira
Crayfish(Small Cup) 100 Naira
If you calculate those items above, the total is 900 Naira only.
But if you wish to add the other ingredients like the stock fish, shaking, smoked fish and ponmo it might become 1,600 Naira See breakdown almost 700 Naira additional to the previous break down.

Palm oil
Sliced onions
Locust beans(optional)
Pepper, tomato and onion mix
Salt and seasoning
STEP 1
Pour your grounded Egusi in a bowl, add some blended onions water or plain water mix together thoroughly till it becomes a smooth thick paste...
STEP 2
Get a pot, pour some of your palm oil in the pot, leave for few minutes to get hot gently scoop in your Egusi paste, leave to fry for several minutes, stir occasionally till its well fried...
STEP 3
Pour your pepper, tomatoes and onion mix, add some locust beans(optional), pour your ground crayfish, add some fresh onions(optional if you like)
STEP 4
Add some salt, add your seasoning, pour your assorted animals(shock fish, smoked fish, goat meat, shaki and ponmo)...
STEP 5
Pour your meat stock(if you have), leave to cook, when it's almost ready, sprinkle some vegetables(Ugu known as pumpkin leaf), let it simmer for minutes...
