What you should do to overcome your fear

FACE YOUR FEARS!

Subsequent freezing, trembling, sweating, upset stomach, high adrenaline level, et. cetera are faced by individuals who lacks the confidence to face their fears. You are scared of the various " what ifs " questions running through your mind because of your lack of confidence to face that you are afraid of.

Fear can affect all of us every now and then because, it is a vital response to physical and emotional danger. The fear experienced by individuals differ from one person to another.

When you have that you're truly afraid of, it is either you fight it, run away from it or you get paralyzed by it.

You can fight it by understanding your fear because that is the very first step to overcome it. Then, confront and expose yourself to your fear by looking it straight in the eyes by doing things you think you cannot do ( the ones you fear ). The fear shouldn't be more powerful than you are. Even if it is more powerful, face it with strong faith and surely, it won't kill you. The longer you expose yourself to the things you're afraid of, the more you'll get used to it and the less anxious you become when next you face it. When you face your fears, you'll realize that the worst is not going to happen nor you're going to die. Rather, the fear loses its power. You gain more confidence and strength when you look at your fear in the eye. Doing that can lead you to everlasting happiness and success in your endeavors.

You can decide to run away from your fears if you think you don't have the strengths and abilities to look your fears in the eye. The longer you avoid your fear, the scarier it becomes and can end up daunting you in your mind forever. Fleeing from your fear can be a source of stress, unhappiness and psychosomatic illness. Then, why don't you just face it and be happy?

You can also get paralyzed by your fear if you think your fear will overcome you. You'll always think of your fear as the mightiest being or the worst situation ever. But you never know that, no matter how mighty and worse your fear could be, all you need to do is to face it squarely. Your fears can get you paralyzed because of the assumed power you have given to it to weigh you down. At a some point, you will be stuck. This is because of the privilege you've given your fear by not even trying to overcome it. Then, it makes your fear more powerful than you are and that can lead you to paralysis forever. Why can't you just gather all your strengths and courage to fight it so, you can be free from paralysis that can make you weak forever?

Obstacles are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff you if they can. If they see you're afraid of them, they are liable to spring upon you; but if you look them squarely in the eye, they will slink out of sight. Why not just face every of your fears and rise? You can get everlasting power and happiness over your fears. You weaken them only when you prepare your mind to face them without giving it a second thought.

Nelson Mandela once quote " I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers the fear." All you just have to do is to do the things you fear and gradually, it will lead to the death of it. Being fearful can make you the boldest!
