To minimize the risk of infection, it is often a good idea for people to be aware of any health problems or concerns before engaging in sexual activities.
Kissing is widely regarded as the most universal way of expressing love. Kissing can range from a short peck to a long, intimate lip touch.
A 10 second kiss can transmit up to 80 million bacteria. When you kiss, you share saliva, which can also contribute to the spread of illnesses. No one is immune to the disease-spreading risks of kissing.
It is important to remember that when attempting to kiss, such behaviour will result in the transmission of illness. Among the illnesses that can be transmitted are:
1. It is the cause of syphilis.
Syphilis is a disease that can be transmitted by sexual contact. If your partner has open sores or a skin rash, it can be transmitted by kissing. It is prudent to avoid sexual contact with someone who may be suffering from syphilis symptoms.
Some sexually transmitted diseases caused by kissing include gonorrhoea and herpes virus.
2. It can result in cavities.
Kissing will expose you to infectious bacteria contained in your partner's dental plaque and cavities. And this is true even if a partner's breath seems minty new, because someone you kiss will transmit an oral infection.
3. It has the potential to cause a severe allergic reaction.
An allergic reaction occurs in around 12% of people who kiss someone who has eaten a food to which they are allergic. When your partner has just eaten a food that you don't completely hate, you're more likely to have a reaction. This can result in vomiting within minutes of exposure.
4. Kissing can result in cold sores.
Kissing can spread cold sores, a herpes virus infection marked by fluid-filled blisters around the mouth. Since the virus can be passed from person to person whether or not sores are apparent, kissing someone who does not appear to be infected can result in a mouth infection.
Please take note of these four points and refrain from kissing unknown people in order to prevent unanticipated health problems.
