Natural ways to treat lumbago

What is lumbago (back pain).


Lumbago is the term used to describe low back pain.


It is a painful condition affecting the lower portion of the spine.


Low back pain is caused by injury to a muscles or ligament.


Back pain can affect people of any age,as people are getting older the chance of developing lower back pain increases due to previous occupation and degenerative disc disease.


The human back is composed of a complex structure of muscles, ligaments ,tendons,disk and bones which work together to support the body and enable us to move around.


The segment of the spine are cushioned with cartilage like pads called disks. Problems with any of these components can lead to back pain.


Lower back pain is more common in women than in men due to hormonal factors.


Causes of back pain:


Muscles or ligament strain.


Osteoporosis.


Arthritis.


Poor posture.


Fracture.


A ruptured disc.


Urinary infection.


Sleeping in an uncomfortable position.


Improper lifting of heavy objects.


Ways to prevent back pain include:


Maintaining a healthy weight.


Engaging in an exercise that strengthens the muscles.


Practicing good posture.


Natural treatment for low back pain:


Shear butter or Ori (heated).


Ewe ato (dried one).


Mix shear butter and ewe ato, soak towel in water and massage the affected part,and apply the mixture gentle three times daily.
