Cancer is a chronic health condition and one of the deadliest diseases today. Though researchers have found some ways to fight some types of cancer, it is not something anyone should pray for.

Suffering from cancer is painful, processes of its cure is even more painful, this is why it is a health condition that should be avoided right from the start.

In this article, I will be talking about 4 foods that increase your chances of suffering from cancer.

1. Fried Foods

Fried Foods are one of the common types of food we see on a regular basis. Although fried foods are one of the things most people eat on a regular basis, it has a lot of disadvantages to the body.

According to a report by healthline.com, they are high in Trans fats, bad cholesterol and unhealthy oil. They also contain carcinogenic compounds which increases our chances of suffering from cancer.

Although it also states that when these foods are taken in small quantities, it's side effect on the body are really low.

2. Processed meats

Processed foods are delicious but they are not nutritious to the body. Higher intake of processed meats increases your chances of suffering from breast cancer according to a 2018 review.

While a 2019 review stated that increase your chances of suffering from colorectal cancer and stomach cancer as well.

3. Overcooked foods

Overcooking a food is one of the common things a lot of people do. This has become a habit, but it is a bad one. When overcooked foods are taken over a long period of time, they increase your chances of suffering from certain types of cancer.

4. Sugar and refined carbohydrates

Sugar and refined carbohydrates such as white rice and bread have been proven to be a major cause of cancer in the body.

According to a 2020 study, it was proven that they increase inflammation and oxidative stress which increases a person's chances of suffering from certain types of cancer.
