There can’t be adequate emphasis on the importance of sleep and the harm in sleeping too little. There are so many things to do every day, and people tend not to have adequate rest because of this. Sleeping too little comes with a lot of consequences: weight gain, high blood pressure, poor brain function and even ageing. Your skin suffers as well when you don’t sleep well.
3. YOU FAIL TO EXERCISE
A lack of physical activity is also bad your health, and it tends to show up when you get older. You’ll age more and lose your youth quicker than those who keep fit.
4. YOU BLAST MUSIC
Young people love to blast music always, but they are only hurting their ears. You slowly lose your hearing ability as a result of exposure to prolonged high-decibel sounds to the ear.
5. YOU HAVE A THING FOR SUGAR
Sugar might be sweet to the tongue, but it leaves a bitter effect on your skin. Glycation is a natural process in which the sugar in your bloodstream attaches to protein to form harmful molecules called advanced glycation end products (AGEs). The more of sugar you consume, the more this process happens, and according to a research published in the British Journal of Dermatology, this process will damage the skin’s surrounding proteins like collagen and elastin, which helps keep the skin firmer. This ageing process starts to take effect at age 35.
6. YOU STRESS YOURSELF TOO MUCH
Stress and ageing go together; the more you stress yourself, the more your skin will tend to look pale.
Stress increases the concentration of a dangerous hormone cortisol and also norepinephrine, which kicks up the blood pressure and suppresses immunity.
7. YOU FAIL TO SPEND TIME WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Research has found that satisfying friendships help aid longevity, good health, boost immunity, protect against depression and reduce the ageing process.
8. YOU MISS OUT ON FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
