Mistakes you should avoid after sex

When you think of the moments when you feel most relaxed and happy after sex, you certainly don't think about infections.

However, there are some things you should not do because they can be harmful to your vagina.

1. Do not forget to urinate

During full intercourse, bacteria can reach your bladder. This can lead to infections, so it is very important to urinate one hour after sex.

After urinating, wipe from front to back to avoid the spread of feces from the anus to the vaginal area. Because of the swelling and micro damage that can occur during intercourse, your skin is prone to infections.

2. Don't Bath with soap or other various gels

Some women feel the need for a shower and a shower, but that is not necessary. Your skin is very sensitive after intercourse and can have an allergic reaction to strong chemicals in soaps and various gels. Using soap can irritate the vaginal and even make it dry.

The vagina is a self-cleaning organ and should be treated very gently, so anything that you can't put in your mouth shouldn't be put in the vagina. If you still want to take a shower, use clean water.

3. Do not Sleep in a sexy lingerie

Cotton underwear is best because it is breathable. Polyester and nylon should be avoided. After sex, your skin is warm and moist, thanks to sweating, vaginal secretions. Synthetic underwear retains moisture, so there is a risk of infection. The vagina needs airiness. So stay naked or use cotton.

4. Do not take a hot bath

A bath full of bubbles after sex may sound like the perfect activity, but here’s the bad news. The labia increase during sex as a reaction to stimulation and to open the vagina, which means that you have a high chance of infection. If you are in a hot bath with your partner, it means you are exposed to his bacteria. Also, high exposure to water reduces the effectiveness of defense against infections.

5. Do not Use wet wipes

If you are sensitive to chemicals such as alcohol, glycerin, odors, and certain oils, using a wet wipe may irritate the skin. Signs that indicate this problem are redness, swelling, and itching.
