Permana was born in Indonesia at a normal weight; he began rapidly gaining weight in 2014. By early 2016, weight increase and associated medical issues had prevented him from attending school. As a result of medical concerns, Permana was placed on a rapid diet plan in order to lower his weight by mid-2016. While this diet reduced his weight and allowed him to return to school, continued hunger and further medical concerns prompted a sleeve gastrectomy surgery. This has successfully reduced his weight by 20 kilograms (44 lb).
When the Arma started losing weighs, the boy said he has started seeing differences.
"Before I could only walk 10 meters, "Now, I can walk about 30-40 meters." Arya said.
At one point in his life, Arya Permana was so large he could barely move from his bed. But the 12-year-old boy from West Java, who was last year dubbed the world's fattest child by the Indonesian World Records Museum, has now been dethroned after he lost a whopping 182 pounds.Once Arya said With all that hard work one day i hopes to be able to go back to school, and play with my friends like before.
Arya Permana dream was come true he is now going to school and plays with his friends as he wishes.
