A popular Lagos plastic surgeon, Anuoluwapo Adepoju has revealed the reason she play and dance to secular music while performing cosmetic surgery, according to an exclusive interview with Sunday Punch.
The cosmetic surgeon says that there is no law that says you cannot play music in your (surgical ) theatre. According to her, is not against the medical practice to play music in the theatre.
Dr. Anu also revealed that one must do what makes him or her happy and concentrate.
While explaining further, the female cosmetic surgeon stated that there is no law that says that one should not move about or shake one's legs a bit or shake your body a little while working.
She explained that cosmetic surgery has to do very little to do with minimal invasive surgery like performing a heart or brain surgery. According to her, it is only an invasive surgery that requires all attention.
The cosmetic surgeon also explained that contrary to views in certain quarters, she is a qualified medical practitioner as she is a graduate of the College of Medicine at the University of Lagos and also a duly registered member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Dr. Anu who is now facing trial in court over the death of one of her patient, Mrs Nneka Onwuzuligbo, stated that the deceased patient was fine after the surgery was carried out.
