Ways You Can Prevent Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a combined medical and mental condition that causes great suffering and has multiple functional consequences. The main symptoms of fibromyalgia are chronic pain in different parts of the body, fatigue and sleep disorders. The disease is noticeably more common in women and about ninety per cent of the applicants are women.

The physical part of fibromyalgia includes widespread pains in the body, focused on the joints but not only there, so in most cases, the patients are diagnosed by a rheumatologist or a pain doctor. The different pains should be spread in different places.

Fibromyalgia does not get worse over time and can have better periods over the years. The risk of having it increases with age. Sometimes, fibromyalgia develops as a result of an emotional crisis or physical trauma, but in most cases, there is no apparent trigger.

According to Cleveland Clinic, there are certain ways you can prevent fibromyalgia. Some of them include; 

Minimize stress.

Eat a nutritious diet.

Get enough sleep.

Maintain a healthy weight.

Manage arthritis, depression or other conditions.

Stay active and exercise regularly
