The Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, has joined other Nigerian government health agencies, to warn Nigerians on the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to an official statement from LUTH that was signed by the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chris Bode, and shared on their official social media handle, issues that the second wave of the virus is easily transmitted and more deadly than the first wave, as the Covid-19 pandemic is not over and Nigerians must prepare to confront it all over again.
The official statement from Prof. Bode, remaindered Nigerians, to do the work of staying safe before praying, as prayers alone without work is futile.
“The present trend is worrisome and if it continues, it may overrun our capacity before we can ramp up again to catch up so let us hearken the directives given by the authorities. This will save many lives.” The official statement from LUTH reads.
