How to detect and prevent Tumors

Early diagnosis and treatment provide more time to stop the progression of cancer. If you have been seeing some symptoms of cancer you need to go straight to any qualified and certified hospital/medical practitioner. An annual physical examination helps the medical personnel to detect the seven(7) warning signals of cancer . This warning signals can be remembered with the mnemonic caution.

•Change in bowel or bladder habits.

•A sore or wound that fails to heal up.

•Unusual bleeding.

•Nagging cough or hoarseness.

•Lump in tissues.

•Indigestion/ swallowing difficulties.


Below are the warning signals of specific type of Cancer.

(1). Bladder and Kidney: Blood in urine, pain and burning urination.

(2). Cervical and Uterine: Bleeding between menstrual periods, unusual discharge, painful mentrual periods.

(3). Lumps in the breast. Itching, redness, soreness.

(4). Colon: blood in stool, changes in bowel habits like persistent diarrhea or constipation, rectal bleeding.

(5) laryngeal: persistent cough.

(6). Leukemia: Paleness, bone and joint pain, nosebleeds, weight loss, undue fatigue.

(7). Lung: Heavy chest or chest pain, persistent cough.

(8). Lymphoma: itchy , night sweats, weight loss, unexplained fever.

(9). Mouth and throat: chronic ulcer of the mouth, tongue or throat that doesn't heal.

(10). Prostate: Weak and interrupted urine flow, persistent pain in the pelvis, upper thighs and lower back.

(11). Skin: lump under the skin.

(12). Stomach: Pain after eating, Indigestion, weight loss, blood in vomit.

(13). Testicular: mild ache in the lower abdomen or groin, lumps, pain and discomfort in the scrotum or testicle.

Also a careful and thorough assessment of the patient's present and past medical and surgical histories and family history can also help in identifying any type of tumor. If possible you have some of the symptoms above, go to a government hospital for check up. The earlier you treat the safer you are and the later to treat the deadlier it becomes.
