Fried rice is definitely one of most common food in the world. A lot of people love it mainly because of the way it’s prepared. Fried rice is made by deep frying rice in a pan, with a lot of colourful vegetables and other ingredients. The taste and aroma of this fried rice, is actually out of this world.
However, a new research analysis has found that eating small portions of fried rice, does a lot of harmful things to the body. So if fried rice and fried chicken is your favorite food, think again. Because, eating even small portions of fried rice regularly can cause these 3 terrible diseases;
1. Heart disease.
Fried rice and other fried foods are known to absorb a lot of unhealthy trans fat from oil. This can cause very high amount of calories and bad cholesterol in the body. And off course, it leads to various heart diseases such as heart failure, hypertension and others.
According to a study published in the American Heart Association people who eat fried rice weekly or regularly, has a 28 percent higher risk of major coronary heart diseases and heart failure.
2. Obesity or excess weight gain.
If people eat multiple portions of fried rice on a regular basis, their chances of becoming obese increases. Due to the fact that it is packed with lots of fatty acid and calories, even small portions of fried rice can lead to excess weight gain.
3. Type 2 Diabetes.
Frequent fried rice consumption has also been linked to type 2 Diabetes by experts. It was discovered that people who ate fried rice at least once per week, has a greater risk of both type 2 diabetes and heart disease. And that the risk increased as the frequency of fried rice consumption increased.
