Staphylococcus Aureus Not An S. T. D, Simple Remedies To Prevent Infection

Staph infections are caused by staphylococcus bacteria, types of germs commonly found on the skin or in the nose of even a healthy individual. They are found as normal tenants in your nose, throat, skin and even your intestines. You can also find them on phones, door knobs, remotes and elevator bottons.

There are different types of staphylococcus but today staphylococcus Aureus is commonly used to generalize the infection.

Over the years people have believed that staph is a sexually transmitted Disease and that it can cause infertility and i have witnessed relationships breakup because one party believes the other gave them staphylococcus.

The common staphylococcus infections are Boils, Yes Boils( Like armpit Boils ), other serious infections are

* Bone Infections

* Heart Infections

* Lung Infections

* Blood stream Infection

Some strains of Staphylococcus have developed resistance and become difficult to treat why ?

James and Nkechi just walk into a pharmacy and buys antibiotic which may not be even needed, those antibiotics kill some and leave some. The ones left behind now become difficult to treat.

So what is an STD ?

Diseases that can be spread through sexual intercourse: virginal intercourse, oral sex , Anal sex or something intimate skin to skin.

Some STD's include Gonorrhea, syphilis, Herpes, HIV etc.

Causes Of Staphylococcus

Many people carry Staphy Bacteria and never develop staph infections . However if you develop staph infections , there is a good chance that if from bacterial you've been carrying around for a long time.

These bacteria can also be transmitted from person to person. Because staph bacteria are so hardy, they can live on objects such as pillow case or Towels long enough to transfer to the next person who uses them.

It can not be described as an S.T.D

Staphs Bacteria are able to survive

* Dryness

* Extremes of Temperature

* Stomach Acid


How To Prevent Staph

* wash your hands constantly

* use a hand sanitizer

* If you have a boil, its best you don't handle food

* Reduce Tampons Use
