Staying healthy is everyone desire, be it young or old. But there are certain sacrifices that must be put in place for you to be healthy. There are daily practices which you have to do for you to attain the healthy status which you desire. Below are conditions to put in place to stay healthy.
1.You must eat a combination of different foods, which include fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts and whole grains. You can improve your intake of fruits and vegetables by always including veggies in your meal; eating fresh fruit and vegetables as snacks; eating a variety of fruits and vegetables; and eating them as much as possible.
2.Your consumption of sugar should be less. because consuming excessive amounts of sugars increases the risk of tooth decay and unhealthy weight gain. In both adults and children, the intake of free sugars should be reduced to the barest quantity.
3.Your alcohol intake should be on the low. Consuming excessive alcohol can lead to health problems such as mental and behavioural disorders.
4.Smoking tobacco is very harmful to the lungs, it will lead to heart disease and stroke. Tobacco kills not only the direct smokers but even non-smokers through second-hand exposure are at risk.
5.Exercise regularly. This can take the form of physical activities undertaken while working, playing, carrying out household chores, travelling, and engaging in other activities that will stretch out your muscles
6.Always keep your body hydrated by taking enough water regularly and on a daily basis.
