Vaginal Itching: Here Are 3 Home Remedies To Help You Stop The Itching.

Itching, irritation, or a burning feeling in the vaginal/vulva is most commonly caused by yeast or bacteria infections, irritants, or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and it can be very uncomfortable.

The infection can cause swelling or redness around the vaginal area, as well as severe itching and sometimes a smelly discharge (or not). It can also cause discomfort when urinating.

Even before using any medication or home cures, the first thing to do if you feel vaginal itching is to maintain 100 percent hygiene. After you've cleaned up your hygiene, you can try one of these three methods to relieve itching.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is an excellent antibacterial and antifungal treatment that also helps to restore your vaginal pH balance.

What you should do is:

1. In a warm glass of water, dissolve two tablespoons of unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

2. For a few days, wash the vagina with this solution every morning and night.

2. Drink Honey + Apple Cider Vinegar Mix

Honey and apple cider vinegar, when applied directly to eczema-affected skin, can help ease dry, itchy symptoms. It works by hydrating the skin and improving the immune system's ability to combat eczema flare-ups. Honey's antibacterial characteristics aid in the fight against microorganisms that cause eczema flare-ups.

What you should do is:

1. Mix a teaspoon of raw honey with two tablespoons of unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

2. Pour in a cup of warm water into the mixture (to taste)

3. For a few days, drink this solution every morning and night.

3. Apply a cold compress to the affected area.

Use ice cubes to relieve itching in the vaginal area. To relieve irritation and inflammation, place the cubes on the afflicted region.

What you should do is:

1. Securely wrap ice cubes in a clean towel.

2. For a few minutes, place the wrapped ice on the vaginal area.

3. Take a 30/40 second break before reapplying.

Repeat as necessary until you are pain-free.

Using cold water, rinse the afflicted area.

Consult a doctor if the itching persists.
