Avoid Eating Too Much of These 6 Foods, if You Don't Want to Have Liver Problem in Future

The liver is an accessory digestive organ that produces bile, an alkaline fluid containing cholesterol and bile acids, it helps in the breakdown of fat in the body.

The gallbladder, a small pouch that sits just under the liver, it stores bile produced by the liver which is afterwards moved to the small intestine to complete digestion.

So the liver is one of the most important part of body, and it's recommend that you know the types of food that can damage the liver and make it not to function well. According to reports, the liver has about 500 functions in the body.

There are some certain types of food that we should avoid in order to make the liver function. So I will listing some foods that are not good for the liver.

Avoid excessive intake of these foods:

Alcohol:If you want your liver to function well, it's very important to you Avoid excessive alcohol intake because it causes numerous liver diseases. Taking too much of alcohol contributes to fatty liver and also damages the liver cell and can cause inflammation and scarring. So try your best to limit your Alcohol intake, cause it will benefit your Liver and kidney Health.

Fried food: consuming too much of fried food contributes to weight gain because it has too much fat and calories in it, and it's not good for the liver, that's because of the amount of Oil using in flying it. try to consume less fried foods cause it's not beneficial to the liver.

sugar:Consuming too much sugar is very bad for the Liver, because it can cause High blood sugar and increase fat buildup in the body thereby causing the Liver not function well. Limiting your intake of Sugar can help reduce the stress on your Liver.

Red meat: it's absolutely true that red meat is rich in protein, but it is also taxing on the liver, it cannot break down this protein easily. The excess protein build-up becomes toxic and adversely affects the liver and the brain. So try and limit the amount Red meat you consume cause it will help your liver function well. It's advisable that you consume more of white meat than red meat.

Salt:

Consuming too much of sodium can damage the liver by causing inflammation and cell death. It's very important that you don't consume more than 1,500 milligrams of sodium daily, because too much of sodium causes the liver not to function well and it also increases the blood pressure.

Whitebread and Soda: Many people especially Nigerians consume this combination very often. But it's a deadly combination because refined carbohydrates and sugar overdose isn’t doing the liver any good. And it also increases the risk of fatty liver disease. So if you Do consume it, try as much as possible to limit the intake so as to help the liver Carry-out it's function well.

The liver does a lot of work in our body, like filtering out blood and breaking down food. So it's important that we avoid anything that can harm our liver, and one of the best way of caring for our liver is by monitoring the kind of food we consume.
