3 Healthy Drinks That Helps To Reduce Inflammation

One common sign of inflammation in the body is experiencing regular pain which is not caused by an injury. Many people are suffering from this condition without knowing the cause. However, inflammation happens when chemicals from the white blood cells are being released into the blood to safeguard if from invaders. This increases the flow of blood to the infected area, thus causing redness and warmth. Inflammation increases a person's risk of battling chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc. 

We have been advised to consume foods that are rich in antioxidants to help combat inflammations. In this article, I will be showing you three natural drinks you can make at home and drink to help fight this condition.

1. Chicken bone broth.

Bone broth is generally prepared by boiling animal bones and tissues inside water, which is used in cooking and can also be taken as a drink. Research has shown that bone broth from chicken is very good for the joint because of the chondroitin sulfate and glucosinolate in the cartilage. Which possess anti-inflammatory properties that functions to reduce inflammation. Many people are not aware of this, but you can make a drink from chicken bones.

2. Lemon and turmeric drink.

Turmeric is one of the most beneficial herbs in the world. Curcumin which is contained in turmeric possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which helps to combat inflammation. The lemon is added to aid digestion. Drinking this juice goes a long way to ensure that you don't suffer from inflammations. This drink is prepared by adding grounded turmeric powder and lemon juice into a glass of warm water.

3. Parsley and ginger juice.

This is popularly called nchanwu, effirin, faski in Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa respectively. It's a very popular leave in Nigeria and you can easily purchase it in the market. Research has shown that parsley contains carnosol, an ingredient which functions to reduce inflammation that is caused by rheumatoid arthritis. Ginger on the other hand is also notable for its anti-inflammatory properties. Parsley and ginger juice is prepared by washing and blending parsley leaves and ginger together and adding water. If you're suffering from inflammation, this is definitely one of the drinks you should be taken.
