2 Reduce your intake of carbohydrates and sugar containing foods.

Most natural foods contain antioxidants that helps the body fight diseases, most processed foods on the other hand are loaded with sugar and also contain preservatives which are not very healthy for people living with diabetes. So insist on natural foods if have diabetes.
4 Take less of alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are not good for people with diabetes. This is partly because many of these beverages contain sugar, secondly excess intake of alcohol would predispose a person to health hazards and may weaken major body organs.
5 Avoid smoking

It is important that you introduce them in your diet if you have high blood sugar but remember to do so at the prescription of your doctor because some of these things can interfere with your medications.
