However drinking water is one thing while drinking water at the appropriate time is another. Most people tend to consume water only when they are thirty or usually after meals.
Drinking water at the correct times of day can help to prevent common problems such as stomach pain, fatigue, overeating, high blood pressure, constipation, and even heart attack and stroke.

1. IMMEDIATELY YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING
Drinking water in the morning activates the internal organs. It clears the colon and body waste and rejuvenate the appetite.
Drinking water in the morning also helps hydrated the brain tissue. This will flush out toxins in the morning and helps prevent fatigue, disorientation.
Having slept for six to eight hours without water which may have led to dehydration of the body system, consuming water in the morning has proven to be a great metabolism booster that would power you up for the daily tasks ahead.
Drinking water in the morning cleanses the bowel and removes acidic waste that could be detrimental to the body.
2. TAKE WATER HALF AN HOUR BEFORE MEAL
Drinking water 30 minutes before a meal allows the body absorb all the nutrients in the meal.
Taking water before a meal helps regulate hunger and prevents overeating especially if you're trying to control your meal calories consumption or if you're on a weight loss journey.
3. BEFORE TAKING A BATH
Drinking water most preferably a glass of warm water before taking a bath helps lower blood pressure as the process reduces sodium levels in the body.
4. BEFORE GOING TO BED
Taking a glass of warm water before bed helps replenish any toxic fluid that body has accumulated through out the day. It keeps the body system hydrated through out the night.
Drinking water before bed can also help you fall asleep quicker as water stabilizes the hormone and nutrients level.
5. WHEN YOU ARE FEELING TIRED.
Taking about a cup or two cups of water when tired helps recharge the system. It replenish the body fluid and maintain energy. It also helps prevent tiredness and fatigue which are the common symptom of dehydration.
Ensure to take water at these strategic periods throughout the day to get the best desired results. This routine should not affect the normal time you consume water as your system demands like when thirsty or after a meal. However, avoid drinking too much water immediately after a meal so as to avoid bloating. It is advisable to take just enough water to digest your meal then wait for about an hour after your meal for a full gulp.
