Drink water instead of taking sugary drinks because water can help the body in flushing away the excess glucose.

2. Leading A Sedentary Lifestyle; this is another thing/habit you must do away with to avoid worsening your condition as a diabetic patient. Reason being that staying inactive is one thing that can even cause diabetes in the first place, so not engaging in activities would end up worsening your condition and increasing your blood sugar level. If you are the type of person that always wants to relax and eat, then you must stop as your life is in your hands completely as a diabetic patient.

3. Eating junk Foods; this is another thing you must do away with if you really want to lessen the effects of being a diabetic patient. This is because most of the junk foods contain excess calories or unhealthy fats that could in one way or the other affect your blood sugar level in an unhealthy way. It is for this reason that people suffering from diabetes are advised to eat Balanced Diet filled with vegetables and fruits rather than eating junk foods.

4. Eating Late At Night; this is another habit that must be done away with for your own good. Eating late at night can have terrible consequences on the human body. As a diabetic patient that really wants to reduce her blood sugar, avoid eating food late at night to avoid causing an upsurge in your blood sugar level.
