5 simple ways you can prevent Ear infections

Our ears have three main parts, namely; an external ear, middle ear, and inner ear. These various parts all have different but essential features that help us to hear and sustain balance.

The human ears come in different shapes and sizes. It's been noticed that men's ears are larger than women's, according to a study in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Scientific studies have also found that the average ear is about 2.5 inches (about 6.3 centimeters) long, Also, the ear does indeed get bigger as a person ages.

These delicate organs can be damaged by physical injuries, infection by bacteria, or even changes in your environment.

According to NLM, it's stated that ear infections are the most common illness in babies and younger children. The American Academy of Family Physicians reported that the common symptoms of ear infections include drainage from the ear, hearing loss, ache, fever, headache, pain in the ear, and a feeling of fullness in the ear.

Prevention of Ear Infections:

Ear infections are common Ear, Nose, and Throat problems. They tend to occur when germs enter the ear and become trapped there. There are some things you can do to prevent ear infections. Although, certain inherited traits make some people, especially children, more susceptible to ear infections. 

I have put down a list of ways to prevent ear infections:

Try to avoid exposure to cigarette smoke.

Endeavor to spot and treat allergies if you experience any.

Always take your baby for immunization and keep it up to date.

Avoid removing your earwax unless your physician tells you to.

Handwashing is very vital to keep germs away from your face, ear, and whole body.
