The rapid spread of omicron has caused many around the globe to doubt their understanding of Covid-19.
Though much remains unknown, experts are learning more about the variation and how it affects people who have been vaccinated, those who have not been immunized, and those who have had a Covid infection.
People who are exposed to omicron, for example, appear to get sick sooner and may have symptoms that are distinct from those seen in other forms.
What are the signs and symptoms of Omicron?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a list of symptoms to look out for.
- Body Aches
- Sore Throat
- Loss of Taste
The CDC cautions, however, that this list is not exhaustive, and that individuals may experience different symptoms or combinations of symptoms.
