combination with medicines against the gonorrhea-causing Staphylococcus aureus bacterium have shown promising results. In addition, ginger has been shown to have an antibacterial effect on both respiratory and periodontal infections.

3. Listerine.

A 2001 study examined the effectiveness of the antiseptic mouthwash Listerine against gonorrhea bacteria found in human mouths.

Male participants in the study were given the option of using Listerine mouthwash for one minute daily or a placebo. Listeria monocytogenes infection can be avoided with regular use of Listerine, according to the study.
