This is why you need to read this article if you snore at night.

The factors that makes people snore, the medical conditions snoring indicates and how to prevent snoring are listed below. Trust me!. You will appreciate me after reading this article.

Causes/ Factors that makes people snore:

1. Blockage of airway in the throat:

When you sleep, the throat and the airway in your throat are open for gaseous exchange. If you tongue rolls and partially block the airway, it may lead to a loud vibration or sound which will eventually lead to snoring.

2. Sleep apnea:

Sleep apnea is a situation whereby a person stop breathing for a short period of time during snore. This actually lead to snoring as it produces gasping sounds.

3. Obesity:

People that are very fat or have a large amount of weight mostly snore at night. The reason why they snore at night is most fat people have extra tissues in their throat area which may cause a partial blockage of the airway and night which will definitely lead to snoring.

4. Nasal congestion:

Nasal congestion is the obstructing of the free flow of air in your nose. Nasal congestion forces you to breathe through your mouth which increases your chances of snoring while sleeping.

The medical conditions snoring indicates:

1. Obesity.

2. Nasal congestion.

3. Sleep apnea.

4. Cardiovascular disease.

5. Diabetes.

How to prevent snoring:

1. Treat nasal congestion:

Nasal congestion is the main reason why most people snore because it forces people to breathe through their mouth which makes them snore. If you want to stop snoring, treat nasal congestion.

2. Try to lose weight:

As I mentioned early, fat people or people that are overweight mostly snore a lot. So, if you want to stop snoring, I will advice you to take some fruits and engage yourself in some exercise so as to lose weight thereby putting an end to snoring while sleeping.

3. Sleep on your side:

If you sleep on your back, your tongue may accidentally role and partially block the airway in your throat which will make you snore but if you sleep on your side, your tongue will probably not role to block the airway in your throat.

4. Avoid drinking alcohol:

If you drink alcohol a lot, avoid drinking alcohol because alcohol causes your muscles to relax including the muscles in the throat area which may partially block the airway in your throat thereby making you snore while sleeping. If you probably like drinking alcohol, do not drink alcohol less than 4 hours before bedtime.

These are the reasons why you need to read this article if you always snore at night.
