Avoid Consuming Salt If You Have This illness, It Only Makes It Worse

Salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts. They are used as an ingredient, to enhance the taste in foods when cooking. There are certain illnesses that reacts to the food we eat and salt is one of it. Despite its function in our foods, it has been medically advised to avoid it if you have the following illnesses;

1. Kidney Disease

High salt diet can stress the kidney to have reduced function and also lead to high blood pressure by removing less water. This can lead to a kidney disease, hence people with a kidney disease or any kidney problem should avoid consuming salt.

2. Osteoporosis

Someone suffering from osteoporosis, should avoid salt because it can worsen the person's health condition and also lead to the reduction of calcium in the body.

3. Stroke

Stroke patients are advised to avoid consuming salt because it contains sodium which has a high risk of worsening the condition. It can also lead to death.
