Stomach ulcer, also called gastric ulcer, is a painful ulcer of the stomach wall. Gastric ulcer is a type of peptic ulcer disease. Peptic ulcer is an ulcer that affects both of the above small intestines.
The soreness of the ulcer may be a burning or tingling sensation, and may be arranged on the back. An empty stomach often causes pain a few hours after eating. The pain often gets worse at night or at dawn. It can follow from a few minutes to a few hours.
Gastric ulcers are easy to treat, but can flow out without proper treatment.
Symptoms of gastric ulcer:
Multiple symptoms are associated with gastric ulcer. The severity of the symptoms deends o the severity of the ulcer. Here are somecommon ones.
1. Abdominal pain
2. Bloating
3. Heartburn
5. Nausea
6. Vomiting blood
7. Black blood on stool.
Some gastric ulcers are unobtrusive and do not see the typical indigestion type of pain. These ulcers are rare but tend to be diagnosed after the bleeding begins to bleed. If abnormal symptoms are found, appropriate tests are conducted by consulting a healthcare provider.
