The lagos state commissioner of health, professor Akin Abayaomi has made a public declaration via tweeter with his personal and official handle @profakinabayomi that all attendees in the just concluded event, Africa Magic Viewers' Choice might need to have been exposed to the Coronavirus disease.

I hereby notify you that all participants at the African Magic viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on14th March at @EkoHotels may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos and are most likely to have been exposed to #COVID19 Infection.
though the announcement is coming late as this event took place since 10days ago 14th day of March 2020, if there are people who have contacted this virus then the level of transfer might have gone too far. we pray God help the country nigeria.
Meanwhile, most of the participants such as Bank W and his wife has replied the tweet that he and his wife has been on isolation since last week. Other participants/attendees are asking how to be tested.
Nigerians have flooded the internet in response to the COVID ALERT, calling out the participants to be forced to isolate themselves.
