Diseases That Have No Cure But Can Be Managed

The human body can get sick and get hurt by diseases. Even though medicine has come a long way, there are still some diseases that can't be treated. Most of the time, it's terrible to find out you have a disease that can't be treated. Some of these diseases are short-lived and can kill you in just a few weeks, months, or even a year. With the help of medicines and other kinds of treatment, these disorders can be helped. Every month, you have to go to the hospital for a full physical exam.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, this article will look at three diseases that can be treated but for which there is no known cure.

1. HIV AIDS

The human immune virus makes the immune system of the body less strong. Because of this virus, the body is more likely to get infections and diseases. You could get HIV if you share things with someone who has it or are close to someone who has it. HIV cannot be cured; it can only be managed. If HIV is not taken care of properly, acquired immune deficiency syndrome could happen. The last stage of HIV is AIDS, a disease that kills. AIDS can't happen because of HIV medicine.

2. Caner

When cells in a person's body grow in the wrong way, it can cause a tumor and cancer. Cancer makes a person sick because it affects their immune system. Cancer can have many different causes, and if it isn't treated properly, the person who has it may die. Cancer can't be cured, but if it is found early, it can be less severe. Some ways to treat cancer are with radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery.

3. The disease Huntington's

This sickness hurts the nerve cells in the brain. This health problem can affect how a person thinks and moves. Since there is no known cure, only a few drugs can be used to control this disease. Even after getting treatment, the patient will still have trouble thinking and moving.
