Caffeine may not be a problem for everyone, but it might cause anxiety in certain people. Caffeine can also raise your heart rate and make it difficult to sleep. If you're trying to cut back on caffeine, start carefully and gradually lower your intake. Caffeine withdrawal symptoms include headaches, nausea, and vomiting. Replace caffeinated beverages with water, herbal tea, or decaf gradually.
2. Foods with a lot of salt.
Too much sodium in your diet can raise your blood pressure and increase your risk of heart attack and stroke.
Drinking in moderation may reduce your risk of heart attack and certain types of stroke. Alcohol, on the other hand, may have a distinct effect on you as you grow older. Alcohol can cause blood pressure to rise and impair sleep. In persons who have high blood sugar, alcohol can cause hypoglycemia. It even has an effect on how drugs work.
