About some weeks ago, the National Center for Disease and Control and the Lagos State government warned Nigerians particularly Lagosians that the number of Coronavirus patients could increase if the protests that were staged peacefully then during the end SARS protest is not halt by protesters.
This warning was given because the protesters which comprised of mainly youths did not put in place Covid-19 protocol while they were protesting in their various locations in Lagos State.
However, the warning that was given then by Government and the result that was forecasted by NCDC is now manifesting gradually, as a new dimension occurred in the number of new cases that were recorded by the NCDC yesterday, especially in Lagos State.
Compared to the previous new cases that were been recorded, Lagos State though is always topping the table but not like having this number of new cases in the past few months, as 255 new Coronavirus cases were recorded.
