What Is Ovarian Cancer And Breast Cancer?
Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer disease. It depends on the type and stage of the disease, cancerous cells are found inside, close, or on the outer layer of your ovaries. An ovary is a small, almond-shaped organs positioned on each side of the uterus that house eggs, or germ cells, and make female hormones estrogen and progesterone.
Basics For Cancer
The development of cancer occurs when abnormal cells in a part of your ovary start to grow without restriction, of which it is also happens (abnormal cell growth) in other types of cancer.
Usually, cells in your body divide and form new cells to replace dying cells, and to repair injuries. This is as a result of the continuous growth and division of cancer cells, they are not like normal cells. Instead of dying, they destroy the normal cells and begin to create new abnormal cells, which forms a tumor. This tumor can mount pressure on other organs that are closer to your ovaries.
Cancer cells can sometimes spread to other parts of your body, and it starts growing there and replacing normal tissue. Ovarian cancer can show you signs in the form of stomach upset, bloating, back pain, fatigue, pain during sex, constipation, urinating frequently, pelvic pain.
Also, women can be affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer is a common cancer disease in women and also the second leading cause of cancer death in women. After your puberty stage as a woman, your breast consists of fat, connective tissue, and thousands of lobules. These are tiny glands that is responsible for making milk for the purpose of breastfeeding.
Cancer causes the uncontrollable multiplication of cells. They do not die at the usual point in their life cycle. This rapid cell growth results into cancer as the tumor uses nutrients and energy and deprive the cells around it.
Breast cancer normally begins in the inner lining of milk ducts or the lobules that gives them milk. From this point, it then move to other parts of the body. Your risk factor for breast cancer can be triggered by age, genetic factor, history of breast cancer, dense breast tissue, body weight, wstrogen exposure and breastfeeding.
The first symptoms of breast cancer that you may notice is an area of thickened tissue in your breast or a lump in your breast or an armpit. Then you begin to notice others such as pain in the armpits or breast that does not change with the monthly cycle, pitting or redness of the skin of the breast, a rash around the nipples, discharge from a nipple which can possibly contain blood, a change in the size or shape of the breast.
