Nigeria has one of the worst health care systems in the world, and yearly we keep losing our young health professionals due to lack of support from the government.
They don't feel any opportunities in the country for them.
They feel brain drain. Majority of students, who ventured into health, had that passion to care for people and also to earn a living while doing so.
But the treatment of the country, and the way they live on meagre salaries make them feel less important.
The health care professionals care for us, who then cares for them? They are also humans.
The government complains it's citizens do not work with them, well, the government has not given them reasons to.
How can you trust a government who does not do what they say?!
There is always a story at every turn.
The current budget for the health sector cut by 50%, where is the humanity in that?!
Meanwhile the National Assembly is being renovated for ₦27 billion.
The key sectors of a Country begin with Health and Education.
There is a saying that "Health is Wealth".
When will the government begin to to do the right thing?
We need to set out country on the right track.
