The believe of everyone is that once one is vaccinated against Covid-19 , one is freed from contracting the virus again, but the reverse has been the case for Argentina's President, Alberto Fernandez.
Argentina's President announced on Saturday that he was tested for covid-19 after he had earlier received a his first doze of Russia's Sputnik V Coronavirus Vaccine on January 2021 and second doze on February 11, 2021.
President Ferdinandez disclosed that he had contracted the virus despite the fact that he had taken two separate dozes of the Covid-19 Vaccine early this year. He added that he is feeling normal and he would be self-isolate .
Meanwhile, the Presidential Medical unit of Argentina said the infection of the virus on the president was mild because of the protective effect of the vaccine he had earlier received.
Furthermore, the Russian Vaccine's company claimed that it's Vaccine has over 91 % effectiveness and protects from severe illness.
