Less Evident Places Germs Are Often More Concentrated

Do you know that there are certain less evident places or parts of the environment where germs are often more concentrated than even the conventional places you probably assumed it to be? Germs are the main cause of infections and bacterial infections and as such, there is need to eradicate all sources of germs to the body.

In this article in line with a publication on Medicine Net, we are going to have a look at some of the less evident places germs are often more concentrated. Most times we assume our hands, nose and some other parts of the body carry more germs than some other places not knowing that away from the body, there are also various parts of the environment where germs dwell. Just sit tight and enjoy this article while learning something new.

What Are The Places Germs Dwell In The Environment More Than You Expected?

1. The T.V remote - as you surf the channels, the fingers are dancing across a germ danger zone that rarely gets cleaned. Each time you use your remote, germs come in contact with the remote thus leading to growth of bacteria. If you are the type of person that doesn't clean up your remote before use, then you could be setting yourself up for bacteria infections because germs you least expected will still find their ways back to you through the remote.

2. The sink sponge - the sink sponge is surrounded by water and soap but for the fact that it remains in the kitchen for extended period of time being damp and warm, it is a host of bacteria. Reason is, bacteria and germs love to thrive in such environments or conditions so for your own good there is need to remove your sink sponge from the kitchen after sometime and leave it to sun dry. This will save you from some bacteria including salmonella; the world's most common source of food poisoning.

3. Your phone - the smartphone you use every second or even less is also a host of thousands of bacteria and germs. Studies show that some people tap, swipe or type on their devices over 2,600 times within 24 hours. This makes it a very dangerous home for bacteria and germs because out of the billions who use smartphones, very few people clean their devices after use. When you don't clean the phone, bacteria multiplies and ends up making you sick in the long run.
