The guardian online reports that a survey carried out by NOIPolls has revealed that 66 percent of Nigerians don't use condoms, and as the season of Valentine is celebrated across the globe with exchange of gifts and romantic expressions of love, the report prepared by AIDS Health Foundation (AHF) in collaboration with the National Agency for the control of AIDS (NACA) and NOIPolls held in Abuja to mark this year's International Condom Day (ICD), seizes the opportunity to advice people to share love and not HIV/AIDS and other STDs.
The survey conducted in the six geopolitical zones of the nation also showed that 92 percent of Nigerians know what a condom is. It highlighted that 83 percent of the people support the importance of the use of condom and 61 percent asked for free distribution across the country to help prevent diseases and early pregnancy.
