3 Foods To Avoid If You Are To Reduce The Chances Of Suffering A Stroke

In many occasions we blame nature and attribute a lot of problems to superstition when indeed they are issues arising from poor lifestyle habits.

Some of the foods we eat are the reason why we suffer some sicknesses. For instance scientists have proved that saturated fats may form plague that block the blood vessels leading to stroke. So to prevent this situation in your body avoid these foods.

1. Saturated fats.

Saturated fats can be gotten from red meat such as beef, pork, mutton. It can also be gotten from full cream milk and other whole diary products such as yoghurt and cheese.

However there are lean portions of red meat that doesn't contain too much fats which you may eat. To be safe avoid saturated fats as you advance in age.

2. Trans fats.

Trans fats are partly hydrogenated oils that are manufactured and used in production of margarines mayonnaise candies and many other baked products.

FDA in the US have banned the use of trans fats but the product is still available in our markets and used in production of margarines, mayonnaise candies some biscuits and other baked products.

To be safe, it is better to avoid foods that have on their labels that they contain partly hydrogenated fats since these may form plagues on our arteries that supply blood to the brain.

3. Canned meats.



Canned meats are another source of saturated fats into our body. They have been declared carsinogenic by the world health organization but they are still in our markets.

Saturated fats and trans fats are particularly dangerous for our body and are the major causes of stroke and other heart diseases.

Canned meats include bacon, ham, hotdogs, sausage, and corned beef.
