You should rather opt for white meat like chicken if you're trying to lose weight because they contain less fat and calories. Some examples of red meats include beef, pork, veal, and others.
Rice is no doubt one of the most widely consumed foods in the world. They're rich in calories and carbohydrates, which helps in weigh gain. If you're the type that's watching your weight, then you should reduce your intake of white rice, as they cause you to gain weight.
3. Oily fishes.
Oily fishes such as salmon, mackerel, tuna, and others are considerably high in calories and protein content, which makes them capable of causing weight gain. Eating them regularly may lead to an increase in your weight.
