Amidst growing reports of growing COVID-19 cases in Madagascar. Reactions are pouring in which reveal disappointment at the purported Herbal Mixture of COVID-19 made in Madagascar.
Bashir Ahmad reacted to this on his official Twitter Handle. He said Nigerians were angry because President Buhari did not give immediate approval to procure the Herbal Cure from Madagascar. He, then, pointed out that Madagascar itself has admitted that the herbal cure does not work and is seeking help elsewhere. His Tweet is below.
A couple of months ago, Madagascar announced to the world that they found a cure to COVID-19, with a couple of African countries showing interest. The Madagascar Herbal Mixture was met with skepticism and warnings from the World Health Organisation and Global Health Experts. Now the Warnings from various quarters seem to be correct with the spread of COVID-19 worsening in Madagascar.
Two lawmakers reportedly died and 25 others infected. Also, the efficacy of the Madagascar cure has been debunked by Nigeria's National Institute of Pharmaceutical Research.
