Supporters Boo Donald Trump For Telling Them To Get Vaccinated Against Covid-19

Former United States President, Donald Trump, was booed by his supporters after he encouraged them to get vaccinated against the novel Covid-19 scourge.

Trump gave this advice in Saturday, during a rally held in Cullman, Alabama, United States.

''I believe so much in your freedoms. You have the right to choose what you like to do. But l recommend that you take the vaccines. I have taken my own shot and I can certify that it is good. Please take the vaccines,'' Trump advised his supporters.

However, the idea did not go down well with the supporters as they booed the former President to indicate their disapproval of his idea. In his reaction, Trump said the supporters are at liberty to choose whether they are going to get vaccinated or otherwise.

''You have your freedoms. I happen to have taken the vaccine. If it is impotent, you will be the first to confirm it. But it is potent. You have the liberty to decide whether to take it or not,'' Trump responded.

Vaccination among some vaccine-hesitant Americans has been a major issue, particularly in states that have recorded spikes in new Covid-19 cases, Alabama inclusive.

Reports say Alabama has the lowest vaccination rates than any other states, with less than 36 percent of the state being fully vaccinated.
