7 Diseases To Look Out For If You Have Frequent Urination

It is normal for the body to produce urine because it is a waste product which has to leave the body to avoid any harm. It becomes abnormal and worrisome when it becomes too frequent and causes inconvenience.

Many people suffer from frequent urination without knowing that there are diseases that can be associated with it.

Ordinarily, frequent urination may not be anything harmful if we are sure of our health, and didn't have too much liquid to take.

However, there could be some underlying diseases if it doesn't stop. So, this article provides seven (7) diseases to look out for when you experience frequent urination.1. Urinary tract infection (UTI): This is a disease which affects the bladder, kidney, urethra and other organs within this region.

This disease affects women more and happens at the lower urinary tract. The bladder is responsible for the storing of urine before it is passed out.

When the bladder gets infected, it becomes weak to hold urine hence, the need to always urinate often. The link below from Mayo clinic has more to say:

2. Another disease is kidney infection: It can also be known as pyelonephritis. This disease also starts in the bladder and the urethra.

When the kidney is infected, its function to filter toxins from the blood becomes decreased hence, causing a buildup of bacteria which can spread to other parts of the body causing serious health damages.

3. The disease known as Prostatitis is another one that we need to look out for: Prostatitis attacks the Prostrate glands which are found in men.

Men who are above the age of 50 years are more susceptible to Prostrate disease. Prostrate glands are responsible for secreting seminal fluids.

However, they can get damaged if they are not taken care of. Other disease that can arise from this is Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). One of the common symptoms of Prostatitis is frequent urination.

4. Diabetes is another disease that is associated with frequent urination: This is simply a disorder that causes fluid imbalance in the body.

Large amount of urine is caused by this fluid imbalance, and it makes you to feel thirsty often and pass more urine.

5. Overactive bladder: This disease will always make you urinate all the time and it can be really embarrassing, especially when you find yourself in a public place.6. Anterior prolapse: This is also known as cystocele. It is simply a case where the bladder drops from its position into the pelvis thereby, always causing a person to feel the need to urinate.

7. Bladder stone: When you hold urine for too long, it can cause stones in the bladder. One of the symptoms is frequent urination.
