This is one of my best local food. Aside from the fact that it is tasty, Egusi soup is one of the most common soups that is consumed in Nigeria. It is loved by almost everybody unless otherwise. It is also an excellent source of nutritional minerals and vitamins such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, zinc, vitamin B1 (Thiamine), dietary fiber, sulfur, magnesium, vitamins B2 (Riboflavin), niacin, and manganese.
