5 Medical Conditions That Can Be Caused By Milk Intake.

Milk is a natural food source for mammals. Women produce milk to feed their babies until they are mature to eat solid food. Milk is rich in valuable nutrients necessary for supporting a growing body, including calcium and protein.

Milk might be healthy and nutritious, but drinking excess of it in a day poses danger to your health. Too much milk intake of anything is dangerous even if it is something as healthy as milk.

For medical experts, excessive milk consumption is taking three or more glasses of milk in a day. The results of the study were even more disturbing in women.

Some of the medical conditions caused by milk intake include.

1. Chronic inflammation

Milk is rich in natural acids that can lead to calcium deposits accumulating and potentially cause arthritis and long-term inflammation.

2. Chronic digestive problems

If you consume too much lactose, it goes into the large intestine, and diarrhoea can degenerate. When you're dealing with digestive problems, it may still be advisable to consume yoghurt and hard cheeses because they have no lactose, or you can try milk that isn't rich in lactose.

3. Nausea

Too much milk intake makes undigested lactose make its way to the large intestine where bacteria starts to digest it. This can trigger nausea, stomach cramps, gas, bloating, and diarrhoea in people who do not tolerate lactose. People who belong to this category can eat or drink milk or other lactose-free foods.

4. Cancers

Research has shown that regular intake of drinking milk increases your risk of developing different types of cancers.

5. Poor skin

When it comes to food allergies, cow's milk, wheat, eggs, soy and shellfish are among the most common causes. These foods can cause itchiness and subsequent scratching can then lead to flare-ups or worsening of dermatitis symptoms.

Limit your milk intake to prevent these medical conditions.
