Opinion: 3 Reasons Why You Should Stop Eating Pig (Pork) Meat Immediately

Some of us likes eating pork meat because of how delicious and tasty they are. While pork contains some good nutrients undoubtedly, it also has its own disadvantages as far as human consumption is concerned. This articles will be focused on listing out and explaining the 3 main reasons why you should reduce or stop your consumption of a forma of pork meat, ranging from sausages, ham, bacon etc.

So here they are...

1 . Firstly, Pigs Have Very Bad Eating Habits.

We a know this very much and I don't need to emphasize much on this. Pigs are know to eat their faeces along with that of other animals. It becomes more dangerous to our health at this side of our world where we dont have any idea how well the pork meat we buy from the roadside were washed and cleaned up before being prepared.

2 . Eating Pork Can Increase The Risk Of Colorectal Cancer.

Now this is the one most of us are not aware of. Eating pork meat can increase the chances of having colorectal cancer. For prove, WHO and IARC once concluded that every 50 grams (1.8 ounces) of processed meat can increase the risk of colorectal cancer by a good 18 percent .

3 .Pigs Carry Parasites And Bacteria.

As I mentioned above in the first paragraph, pigs carry parasites that can get into the human body system if the meat is not processed properly before consumption. Parasites such as the nodular worm, whipworm, lungworm, stomach worm, threadworm, kidney worm, and roundworm can be found in pig meat.

So these are few of the reasons why you should reduce your consumption of port meat or better still stop eating it completely.
